By utilizing lightweight local neural networks, all spatial meshing, lighting reconstruction, and depth mapping are computed directly on your mobile handset or local home-edge processor.

Biometric Identity Isolation
Identifying multiple pets—particularly those with identical coats or solid colors—requires highly granular physical feature mapping. We map minor ear angles, Whisker-to-Nose spacing, body kinetics, and behavioral gaits.
To protect this biological profile information, Memoria.ai implements Local Profile Isolation:
- On-Device Feature Signatures: Pet identification matrices are converted into irreversible mathematical vectors. The original physical photographs are never parsed or stored by external cloud servers.
- Zero-Knowledge Linking: Interaction logs between multiple pets (such as sleeping alignment and territorial patterns) are stored in an encrypted local database.
- Local Cryptographic Keys: Your spatial chronicle is secured using end-to-end user-controlled cryptographic keys. Even in the event of local device backup to the cloud, the data remains fully encrypted and inaccessible to third parties.
Our Three Immutable Privacy Commandments
We build our product around three foundational principles that guide our technical design decisions:
- Local Processing as Default: Any feature that can be computed on-device must be computed on-device. Cloud compute is never used as an easy shortcut for speed.
- Zero Spatial Profiling: We do not build commercial graphs of room layouts, furniture purchases, or lifestyle assets.
- Complete User Exportability: Your spatial bubbles and pet behavior chronicles can be exported in standardized, non-proprietary raw formats (such as USDZ or GLTF for 3D meshes, and JSON for behavioral logs) at any time. Your memories are yours.
